Criminal Debt
Online Payment for Criminal Debt:
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas now has the capability to accept on-line payments for Special Assessments, Fines, and Restitution up to a maximum of $5,000 per transaction.
Payments may be made via U.S. Treasury website, Pay.Gov(link is external), using a Bank account, debit card, or PayPal. Defendants have the option to make a single payment, or create a recurring payment based on a schedule of their choosing.

Please note that Texas Eastern District does not operate Pay.gov, so operational questions may be referred to Pay.gov ONLINE HELP(link is external).

What will my charge look like on my bank statement?
Please note that payments made for your criminal payment will show on your bank statements as follows:
- ACH Debit (direct payment from your bank account): TXED Criminal
- Debit Card: TXE District Court
- Paypal: FRB Cleveland/Pay.Gov
